The unique aspect of Casinos being present in Goa gives Goa a faint resemblance of being the Vegas of India. In Goa, casinos are either onshore or offshore. Offshore casinos can be found on boats anchored in the Mandovi River, and onshore in some upmarket hotels. Most of the action, with live gaming tables, takes place on the floating casinos — which are entertainment destinations within themselves. Onshore casinos, by law, only have electronic games. One can experiment playing games like Black Jack, Rummy, Stud Poker, Baccarat and Flash Roulette.
